We believe in the great commission and are endeavoring to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with love, mercy, and compassion. (See Matthew 28:19.)
We believe in the gospel--the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (See I Corinthians 15:1-4; I Timothy 3:16.) Believers identify with Christ and apply the gospel personally through repentance, baptism, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost. (See Acts 2:38; Romans 6:2-4; 8:2)
We believe there is only one God. He is the Creator of heaven and earth, and of all living beings. He has revealed Himself to humanity as the Father (Creator), as the Son (Savior), and as the Holy Ghost (indwelling Spirit). He is the mighty God in Christ Jesus. (See Deuteronomy 6:4; Colossians 2:9.)
We believe that repentance is part of our initial move toward God as we realize we are sinners in need of a Savior and that we are saved by grace through faith. Through repentance we die to the sinful nature. (See Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:8-9.)
We believe in water baptism by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. Through baptism we are buried with Him. (See Romans 6:3-6; Colossians 2:11-14; Acts 2:38.)
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking in other tongues. Through the baptism of the Spirit we are raised to newness of life and receive power to be His witnesses and walk in the Spirit. (See Acts 2:4.)
We believe in the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. He ministers to His people through tongues, interpretation of tongues, prophecy; words of knowledge and wisdom, discerning of spirits, faith, working of miracles, healing, helps and government. (See Mark 16:15-18; Acts 5:16; 2 Corinthians 12:1-11.)
We believe in pursuing a lifestyle of inward and outward holiness, endeavoring to be a reflection of the character and glory of God. (See Hebrews 12:14; 2 Corinthians 7:1.)
